Hello!

I’m Dain Luka, a 31-year-old Traveller based on the East Coast of Australia. Originally from the UK, I spent 6 years working as a Social Worker in Local Government before taking the leap into the world of global travel. My adventures have taken me to 49 countries and counting…

I find the best way to get to know someone is asking them their favourite country, so heres mine: MEXICO. In 2021, I spent 3 months on the Oaxacan coast immersing myself in Spanish school, eating tacos and surfing (well trying!) I dream of going back soon, but that adventures is a lifetime away from where I am now!

After leaving the UK in 2021, I followed my heart (and some pretty big dreams), which took me all the way to Australia — a place that instantly felt like home. These days, I spend most of my time immersed in my two biggest passions: travel and social media. I absolutely love creating videos that inspire you to get out there and explore the world. I share practical advice, helpful tips, and everything you shouldn’t do to make sure your adventures are fun, smooth, and unforgettable!

I’m a huge advocate for solo travel and believe everyone needs to have their Eat, Pray, Love moment at least once in their life! I’m lucky enough to work from anywhere there’s Wi-Fi, thanks to my job as a Content Creator and Freelancer.
